Provide HR partnership to the Plant leadership, developing and executing HR strategy in support of the business objectives. You will serve as the first point of contact for people leaders and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. You will execute our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement while championing key initiatives including safety, inclusion and diversity, culture and quality.Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to Line Managers and employees within the Greenville LNG plant team, as well as supporting local initiatives within the organizations.Responsibilities include:Partner with functional heads and their staff to provide strategic HR partnership to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable the team and company’s objectives.Strategically partner with Leadership teams to design and implement the most effective organizational structures to drive horizontal teaming, compliance and safety culture to support business growth, simplification, and maximized team performance.Provide timely, effective, and direct coaching to business leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills.Provide strategic coaching as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.Embrace and actively engage the operating model, looking for more efficient ways to operate.Drive efficiency and consistency across all units within the team to improve the culture and employee engagement.Lead and coach site leadership on HR processes including: Employee advocacy / engagement, Employee relations management, Workforce planning, Training and development, Performance management, Career development, Talent assessment, acquisition, and retention, and Workplace investigations as appropriate.Partner with other HR team members to execute GV and site-specific HR strategiesEnsure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.Conduct investigations including gathering, preserving, documenting and analyzing all available information and evidence, and in some circumstances, making recommendations to the business on disciplinary and grievance actions.Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like Performance Development, People Review, Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation.Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.People Leadership of an on-site HR Generalist including priority setting, talent development.Lead other team wide HR projects as necessary, working across multiple locations.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in relevant Business / Management fields.Must have a minimum 5 to 10 years of industry experience, preferably in the oil and gas or related industryAbove average data analysis skillsGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office packages and ERPsWorking knowledge of Union handling, Disciplinary processes and HR investigations.Good knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws.Good interpersonal skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsBe a self-starter and have a high degree of personal motivation, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, strong team player and an ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work task or the work environment, adjust effectively to new work structures, process, or requirements or to work within a new culture.Using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team, facilitating the completion of goals
