The Marketing & Content Executive/Officer is responsible for managing the company’s content marketing operation and driving product growth and visibility from awareness to conversion. The MCEO will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans, planning and distribution of content on the appropriate platforms and measuring the results of marketing activity. Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field · 2-4 years of relevant work experience in content, marketing and communications department.· Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen· Strong written, organizational, communication and presentation skills· Proven working experience in digital marketing · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite· Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns · Experience working on a wide variety of marketing projects· Demonstrable experience working in similar content, copywriting or marketing role/s, with experience in writing for multiple audiences across a range of platforms.· Experience in writing for SEO and the ability to track and understand web analytics to derive insights and recommendations to optimise content· Experience using marketing automation software and CRM systems.· Outstanding copywriting skills· Experience in social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more· Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement· Excellent organizational and time management skills· Good communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent presentation skills · Conducting marketing research and analysis to produce relevant marketing information and evaluate trends.· Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure that marketing plans are executed according to the project timeline· Work as part of the marketing team to manage day to day operational activities across all marketing channels.· Assist with the implementation of marketing campaigns based on our marketing strategy and plans.· Presenting creative and innovative ideas around our marketing campaigns and seasonal events that our customers will engage with.· Managing, creating and developing audience specific content to support the implementation of the agreed content strategy and monthly content cycles (e.g. newsletters)· Reviewing content produced by agencies and writers to ensure it is aligned with the organization's voice, style and tone.· Ensure content ideas promote the organization's thought leadership, products and services by telling compelling stories, with a focus on digital content, implementing SEO best practice to drive web traffic and generate leads.· Producing all copy for the organization-owned channels, touchpoints and relevant campaigns.· Tracking and utilising customer behavioural and social engagement metrics to identify key trends and action on new content.· Conduct in-depth research into related products and categories to be able to come up with content audit reports, gap analysis, recommended content strategy and define industry benchmarking guidelines
