Job Summary

This role will work specifically for the Allied Services Division of the Group that provides services across the following business units: security education, background check and investigations, and outsourcing and resourcing. The Chief Business Officer (CBO) will lead the design and implementation of a commercial strategy and roadmap for the company. The jobholder will drive revenue growth and business expansion; lead identification and development of new business opportunities, client relationships and strategic alliances for the achievement of business objectives. The CBO will engage the market and collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen and commercialize the Division’s value proposition, for income generation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a commercial strategy and roadmap to drive growth and expansion in line with strategic aspirations
  • Develop and implement supporting plans and budgets for strategy execution and the achievement of business objectives

Business Development

  • Drive the growth of the company's business across key performance indicators including client acquisition, revenue, profitability etc.
  • Manage and coordinate the Division's business development activities across markets
  • Prospect for and identify new clients and business opportunities
  • Lead the business development and sales team to develop business cases and other vital analysis for optimal profitability
  • Identify appropriate and effective ways to position the company's services and value-add
  • Track and monitor business development performance in line with defined goals and metrics; deploy appropriate interventions where necessary
  • Guide the creation of persuasive presentations that demonstrate the value of the Division’s offerings
  • Drive and monitor the implementation of marketing strategies and related initiatives

Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management

  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances to facilitate the attainment of the Division’s goals
  • Manage key stakeholders (internal and external) and optimize relationships for best outcomes
  • Build and maintain good client relationships and ensure high level of client satisfaction

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • MBA or related Master’s degree would be added advantage
  • Relevant professional certification from a recognized body e.g., NIMN, CMMP

Experience

  • Minimum of eight years’ business development experience including experience leading business development/sales teams to deliver business results
  • Strong track record delivering revenue targets, driving business growth and expansion

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦400,000.00 - ₦700,000.00 per month
