About Company: Our client is a reputable Oil and Gas servicing firm located in Surulere, Lagos.

Job Summary: The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the Companys financial integrity, issuing invoices, tracking payments, and preparing all financial reports efficiently and in accordance with accepted standards and government regulations.

Responsibilities
Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions.

Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.

Contribute to financial audits.

Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.

Prepare balance sheets and invoices.

VAT processing and preparation of VAT returns and periodic Withholding Taxes and submit report on same to the management

Process payroll and PAYE payments (where applicable)
Record accounts payable and accounts receivable

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

Reconcile bank statements

Track bank deposits and payments

Requirements
HND/BSC in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field

3-5 years proven experience in similar role

Experience in the Energy sector will be an added advantage

Proven experience accounting for huge turnover

Outstanding analytical and time management skills

Strong attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Benefits
Base Pay is BTW N100, 000.00 N130,000 monthly
